I remember one time I asked housekeeping to leave me some more little shampoos in my room and I came back to about 20 bottles laid out on my bed in a cute geometric design π
This is SO fun! It made my afternoon to "read" this. Pillow forts are da bomb! This reminds me of how my ex-wife and I used to do Friday night "camp out" nights in the living room with the kids. Good times.
How funny!!! I so remember spending hours making blanket forts. Was always so pleased with the out come. Played until my mom would come and demand I take it down & put it away. Happiest to π.
I now wonder why we were not allowed to leave it up for at least a couple of days.π€
I know moms and tidying up, right? Now that Iβm older I realize we should let magic linger. Maybe thatβs why we get to a point where weβre better grandparents than we were parents. π«
Full confession: I built forts out of sofa cushions and blankets ALL THE TIME when I was a kid!π
I also used to yarn bomb my bedroom- tie the end of a ball of wool to the doorknob and then string the yarn all over the room. Then undo it. I was a weird kid.π
Itβs amazing how us kids managed to build a fort with whatever came to hand, wherever we could. And make even the most mundane things come alive: add broomsticks and garbage pail lids and poof! we were medieval knights.
Thank you Dave. Iβve got no little ones around my house but great nieces and nephews would def be into this. My current family room is so small the entire room could make one! Lol
The hotel one was the best π They totally deserve βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
I know right? Would have never thought to request such a thing. Humans are not nearly playful enough! We need to lighten up.

What a fun idea the Friday night camp outs!
Love these Vanessa! My favorite is the request by the not 25 yr old man at the hotelπππ π€£
I love that one too

Sounds normal to me! Fun actually. β€οΈβοΈ
I forgot all about forts, good times! Thanks for the memories...
I did too until I saw one in someoneβs memes then I had to wait for the right moment
Kids and grandkids are great excuses to relive this. And pillow fights where I cheat and use a heavy memory foam pillowβ¦
Thatβs not cheating thatβs an βexperiential advantageβ. Love it!
Pillow forts! Until you use all of them as ammo and have to start again.
Thenβ¦.pillow fort!
Yes my dad was not into such shenanigans from 6 kids so we built snow forts outside but there were times when we had a fort just a couple of us.

Thanks for the great memories!
Love these. I want that media room forte.
Me too lol. Thatβs the one that caught my eye too!
