Thank you for your lovely comment! Both @Wendy Elizabeth Williams and I had a wonderful time collaborating on this project. Have a beautiful spiritual holiday season!

As I read this, I see there were some great memories and family bonds, a few traditions. Yet, there were those difficult experiences that had the potential to forever scar the day.

I feel that because of the trials and tribulations each of you endured throughout life, your faith abounds. Because of it, both truly have a reason to appreciate and spread the real spiritual meaning of Christmas. It’s wonderful that two extraordinary people can have similar experiences over time and bond together to create such a classy, moving and enlightening work of art.

Ken, I'm in agreement with Cori, your comment was awesome. I teared-up when I read it. This is the much-vaunted "spirit of Christmas", which humans desperately need, through all the storm and travail of this material world. Christ willingly came down in to this MESS with all of us. No other God did this. He lived with us, He experienced our suffering , He suffered FOR us and died for us and was raised to intercede for us who accept Him into our hearts. Thank you, Ken, for your heart in this comment, it truly fed my soul. I may also, in the next day, share my own brief piece I wrote for my own church Christmas presentation. It flows along similar lines. It was Cori who approached me to do this collaboration and I was uncertain , feeling like "I'm the weirdo, who would want to collab with me?" That is the thief speaking.... begone! God bless you! Wendy

That is the most beautiful comment. The connections we make here are truly heart opening. There is no joy without pain and therefore as humans we can and should all make a joyful noise this season! Thank you, especially, for seeing us.

This is such a beautiful collab of inner and outward reflection. Christmas holds so many memories.., and even in life's conflicts and griefs, we seem to draw nearer to Christ as children. We naturally crave, absorb and look for the magic. As we grow older we are far more cynical, often casting Him aside.

Thank you my friends, Cori and Wendy, for sharing your personal experiences and reminders of what Christmas is all about. 🎄✨🙏🏻

Bless you, Deborah!! As Cori mentioned, this was my first collaboration and I am grateful it turned out well. I am in agreement about struggling to hold onto the magic of Christmas as we get older. I have battled cynicism a lot. I am gradually being brought back to fellowship, by Papa God and HIs dear Son! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, dear Deborah! Wendy

Bless you my dear friend. I’m so glad you are gaining ground here and writing for our Lord. More people need to hear your stories and make wise decisions for themselves! So cool you did this collab too :) I completely get the struggles and I believe that His magic is everywhere on any day. Christmas is a lot of pressure at times and the best Christmases are the ones where we just stay calm, take in the birth story, reflect, and enjoy all the goodness around us. Sending you my love Wendy and hope you are doing well. oxox

Surprisingly this was Wendy’s first collaboration. She’s such a beautiful, soulful writer. I felt strongly that the spiritual traditions needed the primary place at this holiday’s table. When Wendy gave me her piece I was astonished by how well it fit what I had in mind because we’d only DM’d a couple times and I could only articulate a vague vision. Well, you know because we’ve collaborated before lol. My hair brained schemes are sometimes difficult to articulate to my victims, cough cough, I mean others. Lol. Thank you for your generous praise. We appreciate you. Have that wonderful hectic loving family Christmas. 🎄✌️🙏🫠

So nice to read these testimonies, and they really are testimonies in every sense. A wonderful respite from my normal substack diet! Thank you gals. Alrighty then, back to devour a little sh-tposting before lights out.

Charles...laughing...I can somehow relate! From the sublime to the ridiculous, dear Substack and Notes can take us all on a roaring ride. Just know when to exit the train...(I tell myself that as well). Merry Christmas to you and yours, Wendy

Thank you for the chuckle. I’m glad you liked it. I’m beginning a short break from Substack for a few days next week. I always unplug to decompress for several days between Christmas and new years. If you want a little laugh break I’m posting memes in the next few days before my hiatus.😊🎄
