Thank you for taking me along on your Sunday walk! I loved it and admired everything along the way — dragonflies, pinecones, mushrooms, birds, ponds, trees and my favorite is the photo of tge dun rays shing through the forest. It inspires fairy tales. 🧚‍♀️ 🧚‍♂️ 🧚 Lovely Bren!

Great pics. Reminds me of growing up in Central PA and the nature hikes I took back then. And the best part of each pic you took is coming in October. You should re-take each one in 7 weeks...great comparison. Excellent work and thank you!

I really enjoyed those gorgeous photos! I am fortunate to live on a ranch where the natural beauty stirs my soul. Everyone needs some peace and wonder—it’s how people can live deeper lives. Thank you for sharing yours.

Good morning. Living on a ranch must be beautiful. We’d like to buy a farm but land is hard to come by where we live.

I adore the Ranch. I don’t know if I could live anywhere else and remain whole. It is our sanctuary and our survival.

If you are looking for land, there are all kinds of gorgeous rural areas everywhere. Just realize that when living like I do, you will have a steep learning curve before even buying the land. I’ve seen a lot of people go into this type of endeavor with a hopeful mindset and little appreciation for the hard work and learning necessary to even slowly accomplish their goals.

Do not despair! With some research, a functional brain and some people to help, your acquisition of great tracts of land for your sanctuary is eminently doable.

If you have questions, I’d be happy to flatten that learning curve.

Wonderful nature photo essay. Admittedly, I also have an iPhone 8+.:)

Lol. I thought I had maybe the last one on the planet. I don’t like spending money on cell phones so I always get the one that’s 2-3 versions old.

I write about the woods almost every Sunday. Missed yesterday and I might catch it up tomorrow.
