Thanks for this …reminding me of our inground pool days ! We had two/different homes/different states… and yes, spring always brought the bird poop! Don’t recall what kind, nor have I heard of grackles… great name for an annoying bird!😅 I like your perspective, embracing them/nature rules! ☺️ Great piece, Cori! 🥰🫶

Thank you for your beautiful words. We’re up to 14 or so pairs they’re very hard to count. Lol

I have shirts that say “I’m not for everyone”, “I like you. I’ll kill you last”, “Rock, paper, scissors, throat punch”, and “Crochet makes me less murdery”. It’s safe to say I’ve NEVER heard “I like your style”, so that’s high praise indeed. Thank you 😊🤪

I will count them and get back to you. Thank you for reading and enjoying. When I posted this last March I only had 35 subscribers. A lot more now and my audience knows me better now and I still watch for the grackles, our heralds of spring.🐝🦋🙏

Animals don't give a "rat's behind" about what humans think. They are maddenlingly (and needfully so), dedicated to their own lives, to their survival, their young, their living. Humans can take it or leave it. I don't think I have ever met a grackle....but they can certainly have their corner. Sometimes it is animals 1, humans 0 , other times a draw. Life goes one, doesn't it? Also, I do know that SAD (seasonal affective disorder) is actually a thing, especially at end of winter. This was a good read, Cori! Blessings, Wendy

A nice return to “normal” would mean never having to hear someone say “it’s the NEW normal”

I fully agree with that but we can’t put pandora back in the box can we? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

That was great, Cori, and I hate the grackles too. You've made me see them in a new light.

I’m happy you enjoyed it. Our planet keeps spinning in spite of our squabbles. Many have trouble emerging from seasonal depression near the end of their winter but things like sunshine and migratory bird patterns can pull us from our morosity. Have the best day since yesterday!❤️
