Really enjoying working my way through this newbie advice/warning stuff. At this stage, I still don't really know the difference between "follow" and "subscribe"! I guess if I sub you then I automatically follow you. Or not. Possibly. Anyway, I am making it up as I go along really, but it's fun -both reading, commenting and writing when the whim takes me - so that's all that matters just now !
If you no longer want to subscribe to a website, including a Substack author, you have to contact the sender and request an “unsubscribe”. They have to honor that request within 10 days or you can report them to the FCC. So that is why Substack makes it easy for subscribers to unsubscribe.
"What I found has been so much more. It’s a continual release of whatever inertia has held me back from being a writer for 59 years. There is not a moment that passes that I don’t think to myself - “Huh. I never expected this.” Please carry on, or not, but be it as YOU wish"
I love this! AND I love that you are no longer holding back and just WRITING!!!
I came to Substack to build a blog and newsletter. I would pay to have this community of writers. I won’t ever paywall my content, not that there’s anything wrong with that… I also read when I can and will miss some here and there.

When you’re ready, subscribe to @Kristi Keller 🇨🇦 Unstack Substack. She’s brilliant at all of it🙏🫠
Thank you. I will head on over and have a look. I am sure I will find some pertinent tips there which would improve the look of my page!
