Cori, once again, you hit it in hilarity with these memes!!! Funny how we all dislike spideys...but they are useful critters who eat bugs! I am so eccentric, I actually have a bug jar at home and have "rescued" and gently escorted many a spider out of more than one apartment I have lived in. Trick is not mashing their legs when you coax them gently and yet quickly into the jar. A few nights ago, I had to pee in the middle of the night. I turn on the bathroom light and immediately see a substantial arachnid scurry on the floor behind the wastebasket. Sighing, I found the nearby bug jar and a piece of paper, found the spider (large with looonnnggg legs...) gently placed jar over bug, slid paper under jar, gently and quickly flipped jar and paper top over and like a flash, placed top on the jar. There is a science to it...but I did escort Monsieur Spider OUTSIDE. Whew....bugs! Thanks again for entertaining and laughter! (I should start a course in spider-catch and release...$1.99)
"Rehome" , what a great word for spider and bug escorting outside via a JAR. "Here's your propert home, homie! Now stay OUT of MY home! Thank you, human. "
Ken, that is kind of you to say so….but I don’t feel much like a “Kid at heart” anymore, not that I ever did! I’m a serious girl…but I do enjoy some good laughter! That Disco Duck song was so silly!
I don’t feel too young at heart either. Too many things have been ruined through the corse of time for one reason or another and the kid stuff is gone. Thank gosh for YouTube….even if it is affiliated with the trackers from Google. It took awhile, but I think I’m starting to feel my age.
Ken, getting older is just fine! We are going the way of each generation before us and that is OK! While I cherish many memories, I do not live in the past. Nostalgia can be good in moderate doses but one must live in the now, despite the sadness and longing. Much to do to help young people nagivate this difficult world. When I can genuinely laugh, I do, even if my core temperament is serious!
I'd love to see them. My foster son used to curl up like an armadillo. (when he first came to live with us). My husband taped pictures of squashed armadillos left on highways on his bedroom door, and Allen stopped stopped curling. Whatever works.
Best way to start a Monday 😁
Happy to oblige. There was quite the ruckus yesterday about spiders so those memes caught some eyes.
An exciting contrast of delight 🤗 and scary! 😱 Great meme drop Cori!
Thank you Charlotte. Those spider memes just kept popping up. Lol

I rehome them outside too when I don’t reflexively scream and smash them. Lol

Cute and funny. Winnie the Pooh and Jack the Ripper. 😂😂😂
That’s one of my all time favorites!🤪🍄
God creates spider...LMAO 😁😁
There’s a bit of a spider theme going on today on SS
I love the poodle moth :D
Me too! Def sci fi like, right? Put it in one of your stories.🤪❤️🫠
It could be one awesome flying mecha!
It would! Check out this Rosy Maple moth. Psychedelic! First pic from internet and others are at my sister’s house.
Does it grow so fabulous on a diet of maple syrup?
Lol it eats mosquitoes in its 1 week lifespan
One week to us. I believe bugs have a different perception of time so… for our marvelous fluffy moth this week could be a decade :D
That baby koala at the party may be my spirit animal 😉
Great collection, Cori! ☺️
I love that little guy and I too am that person at a party lol. Thanks for the sass!
Is Disco Chicken a cousin to Disco Duck ??? (I’ll admit, I loved this when it was released 🙄)

Lol none of us are old we’re just well seasoned🤭
I was just going to mention Disco Duck...(gosh, I'm old...)
Not old…a kid at heart 🕺💃

Miss you sis! Thank u you for ALWAYS being there for me NO MATTER WHAT❤️🫠😚!
Ah, the leaping wombat. Iconic.
So fat and cute!! There are a ton of wombat memes!!

That’s the sweetest story!🍄🐝
My foster son is 35 now, and we talk once a month. Of all the kids, he's the one who calls first on Mother and Father's Day.
