Cori, this was fabulously creative, I so enjoyed reading it. I think it had to have been this way. I love Christopher’s art!! Such a marvelous collaboration, he is quite talented! I’ll have to check out his other work. How cool is your oak tree!!! I love the thought of it just taking root and growing right alongside the US. That picture with the branches outspread is amazing, I bet the canopy is stunning when it’s in full leaf.

Awww shucks ladies (looking down dragging my toe in the dirt) you’re making me blush. Unfortunately for our tree some of it is dying. There’s no full canopy and the township has cut some dead branches that were hanging over the road 🥹

Cori, YOU are a brilliant and Holy-Demented Hammer. By "demented", I mean out of range of earthly stuff, off the beaten track, off in a forest of your own. This story is amazing! The face in the tree, the dragon creation, the tempestuous relationship with the other critters, the crabby Being, the pouring down of creation, this is truly an astonishing piece. I thoroughly enjoyed this! "Hammer" means creating useful chaos and breaking things....like hidebound and trapped. Don't let a PH.D. counsel you on this...leave it be for us Elves, please... Blessings, W.E.W.

Delightfully magical story Cori! Love it, and I do love Christopher Robin’s drawing. Perfect name for an artist showing their whimsical side. ✨🤗💖

“ Once upon a time, in a land far far away (maybe, if you live in Australia) called Lenahepoking, a very, very special home took root”

The word “Root” has a naughty meaning in the land of OZ. 🤭🤭🤭
