The forest is quiet, free
Wandering its paths I’m entranced by dreams, my bitterness and stress forgotten it seems
Nature’s caressing breeze dries my sorrows
To relinquish the forest my soul splinters, barren and hollow.

I can certainly relate to this, Cori! The forest is a place of peace. I grew up around lots of evergreens, they are so soothing to the emotions, especially PINE! Keep writing!!
I like it. But I’m going to knock on some wood. It’s free now only because no one’s figured out how to put a price tag on it.
