Laughter IS Medicine
The halfway point for January's Bren's Bites laughter challenge is here. Listen up!
Most of us know by now that geekle and/or the health/fitness/medical establishments are on crack. How can we assume otherwise when advice is all over the road like a mom looking for that fry she dropped in the car while racing down the freeway at 75 mph? Shit like this - carbs are good, carbs are bad, vegans live longer, vegans die weak and sickly, animal fat destroys your veins, new study shows replacing your blood with actual fat helps you live past 100, the latest ‘blue zone’ is stand up comedy, blah, blah, blah.
Since I posted this last June, the WHOLE WORLD of health has CHANGED AGAIN. Wait, what?!
So, let’s revisit the make-fun fiesta that is health and wellness and keep the home fires burning for this Bren’s Bites scam, oops I mean super easy to do itsy-witsy-bitsy improve-your-life changes. And, while we’re at it, let’s get our heads on straight about Doctors’ advice, eating and diet habits, and how exercise “helps”.
***DISCLAIMER***
This is NOT medical advice. Medical advice is all lies and innuendo and there are definitely at least 1.5 facts hidden in this ‘Encyclopedia Britannica’ of water cooler healthy-human tidbits. Please consume responsibly. Please do NOT operate machinery after reading these and ALWAYS have a designated driver when you become punch-drunk on laughter.

Memes take up a lot of cyberspace. Deal with it.
Did you know that hitting the ❤️ icon above or below, and sharing this post shows your appreciation for Bren’s Buzz?
Someone you know is overweight, underweight, healthy, unhealthy, eating right, not eating, or maybe (JUST MAYBE) confused about what works. Send them more fake advice from Bren’s Buzz. If they must be confused, at least they can laugh about it.
In case you missed the January Bren’s Bite kickoff memes, the assignment for January was laughter as a natural mood booster, 15-60 minutes a day. Comeonman, this could be cat videos or toddlers saying crazy things. No heavy lifting required.
And stay tuned, because February’s Bite, posting January 31, is ridiculously easy (will take 10 seconds) and is known to legitimately SAVE LIVES.
I love you guys, so just tune into these short meme-based Bites monthly throughout 2026 and make a real difference for yourself.

I want the popcorn shirt but I would fill it with dark chocolate.
The yoga ones are hilarious, especially since I started doing a Zoom yoga class a few months back. Thankfully, I don't have a cat to enhance the experience with its claws in my eyeball, and being on Zoom prevents that rear-view from happening.
