It’s so interesting how we sync up a lot and I’m completely out of the astrological loop🤷‍♀️

You're not out of the loop. You're right in the middle of it, where you should be. You don't need to understand anything. Just be yourself!

Phew ! Talk about mellowing out. Looking through your pics with the sounds of the Spa Channel streaming in the background. Calming and relaxing to say the least.

You gave me an amazing idea - to put one of my nature documentaries to music! Thank you. And thank you for reading. So happy you enjoyed this!

Pennsylvania truly is practically a garden of Eden in spring.

I’ve not explored the States, bar a few work trips … but it does look gorgeous.

When I fully retire very soon I want to spend 2 years seeing my country’s sites by roadtrip. I’ve not seen much yet.

The perfect start to ‘slowing down’ … speed up and do all the things! A Grand Tour!!

Thank you for reading. Two of my favorite nature posts ever are this one about moss and a fun one I wrote about aliens in the woods🤭the quirky stuff def hits best, like the one about fungus too! Enjoy!

These photos made me think back to my yahoo360! blogging days. One of my friends was seriously into photography and would walk around national parks in Oregon photographing everything. He was very inspiring.

That sounds like an amazing way to inspire someone. My fascination with the woods was started by my dad who frequently took us on Sunday ‘marches’ lol to “get the stink blowed off of us” and to wear us out a bit so the six of us were less likely to become a feral pack of beasts.

Amazing! Thanks for the walkabout and photo journey. The turtle is quite magnificent!

He’s a bruiser! We had a heck of a time finding something comparable to our memories to articulate his size. In my research it said some of the reason for an algae-encrusted shell were male, age (doesn’t move or bask in the sun as much), and secure food source. All those things can also contribute to size so we felt safe going with 2-ish to 3-ish feet and possibly over 50.🤭I was floored by that! We think we met a senior citizen of the animal kingdom🫠⚡️

This is so fascinating to me. I live in a high desert region, the edge of the Great Basin. No turtles here! Although where I grew up in the Pacific Northwest it was not uncommon to find pond turtles in and near the waterways..rather small and docile compared to your friend there!
