Today I read a post (linked at the end) about ways to support writers through this holiday season. I realized I had not done a roundup of posts I love for months. So here’s to all of you, and especially to some favorites I’ve read lately. There are many, many more so maybe if each of you pay this forward with some other new faces we can spread the joy.
- I find his work comforting, in a very down to earth authentic way. - I read daily. Do yourself a favor and lighten the pre-holiday load with a laugh break in this Myers Briggs personality type meme series. It’s priceless. - Her Sparks of Light poetry is alluring. - The one to read for morning belly laughs, good medicine. - His Meditations on Nature posts are a lullaby for my nature-loving soul. - Our daily dose of humanity - Brilliant simplicity, one type-written (yes the machine) page a day that makes me want to slow down EVERY TIME. Also a wonderful maker of rubber stamps, Stacky included who I use a mascot for my Stacky Speaks series because Stacky needs to be seen and heard. - Fantasy, poetry, Warrior Wednesday it’s a basket of goodies fit for Red Riding Hood. I love this recent post about a ‘typo’. - A new find from my feed - there’s something authentically poignant here. - What Then makes interesting connections which encourage me to think. - Mother of Hope is an interesting mix of poetry, short stories, and photo essays. Julie is amazing in the feed - always the perfect pin prick of sarcasm - truly a master. - Her A Blunt Oregon Girl is just that. A direct and cautionary tale from the heart of a ship captain molded by stormy seas. Not to be missed. - A special thank you for this reminder to share the love.
