What the hell was I thinking? The minute I saw snot in my great nephew’s nose Christmas Eve I shoulda turnt around and left. IMMEDIATELY! We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with them, including his mom and dad who were also sick. It did look like I’d skate even though my 25 year old son got hit hard. NO SUCH LUCK! I was good for a couple days then BAM!!! It sucks for sure!!!

Hibernation must be how the animals prevent such tragedies. So next year, we will be Christmasing at home (hibernating) in front of our fake fire, until we know who has what germs or new diseases. LOL. Here are some memes to lift the spirits of anyone who’s dealing with this crud and here’s to avoiding the snots next year!
