A couple weeks ago I got tired of wandering around my house with messy hair in a pony tail, in need of color, and generally living in pajamas. It’s a long story but finally one Saturday morning we planned to run some errands. So (begrudgingly) I fixed my hair, got dressed in actual clothing with zippers and buttons and stuff, gave my husband a hug, and said “Do I look ok? You can love me again now. I’ve trimmed my nose hair.” LOL.
This, of course, gave me a horrible, awful, no good, crazy idea for memes about all the contraptions, contortions, potions, makeup, magic and such that humans avail themselves of in an attempt to look decent and make ‘worthy company’ for their partner. And, with Valentines Day just around the corner, let’s explore the myriad ways that men and women get ready for a big date and throw in some laughs about the biggest BIG date! Enjoy!

Whip up some candy-heart word salad in the comments. We love controversial confrontation up in this piece.
Lol right? It’s the Geico gecko. Lmao
Cori, HILARIOUS, as per usual for your wonderful memes! Embrace your glorious curly hair!!! I certainly know the crashes that are involved in the male-female dance...confusing, filled with some trepidation, pressuring...too much. We have to enjoy our own company first!
I may be in the minority...but of all the holidays out there, Valentine's Day is my LEAST favorite. Too much over-the-top stuff. I walked into Safeway a couple of days ago and good grief, the Valentine's Day display...HUGE and to me, way-way-way OVER THE TOP. Balloons, hearts, stuffed animals...and men looking dismayed, wandering around wondering what to bring their wife or girlfriend. Flowers?? Chocolate?? I say ENOUGH!!! Too much pressure! Simply show love to your wife or girlfriend every day and treat her with respect. The Valentine's Day thing is just more pressure. Not all women love Valentine's Day! OK, short rant over! Wendy
